Who operates Hodego Ai

Hodego Ai is operated by Benjamin Wordson in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Contact info@hodegoai.com for privacy questions, access or correction requests, and deletion requests.

Information we process

We process account names, email addresses and authentication records; business details, hours, services and receptionist instructions; and, when the relevant features are used, caller and customer contact details, call times, recordings, transcripts, messages, appointment details, notification records and service activity. Payment providers process payment details; Hodego stores associated billing and subscription records. Business customers are responsible for providing appropriate notices and obtaining required permissions from callers and other people whose information they submit.

Why we use information

We use information to operate accounts, answer and route calls, arrange callbacks, handle messages, schedule appointments and reminders, manage billing, support customers, protect the service and investigate failures. Calling and recording features can involve AI processing. Information necessary for these functions may be processed by our hosting, voice, telephone, messaging, email, calendar and payment service providers.

Google Calendar access

Connecting Google Calendar is optional. With your permission, Hodego uses your primary calendar to check busy times and create appointments. The integration requests calendar.events and calendar.events.freebusy permissions. Busy-time checks retrieve time intervals rather than the titles or descriptions of unrelated existing events. Hodego stores encrypted access and refresh tokens to maintain the connection, and appointment identifiers and booking records to manage bookings and reminders. Hodego does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive or Google Contacts through this calendar connection.

Available appointment times and booking results are supplied to the AI receptionist so it can offer times and confirm bookings. Your calendar access tokens are not provided to callers or the voice agent. Appointment details may be included in notifications to the business and, when enabled with consent, to the customer.

Google data limits

Hodego's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google user data will not be sold, used for advertising, or used to train generalized AI or machine-learning models. Human access to Google user data is limited to the circumstances allowed by that policy, such as your affirmative agreement for support, security needs, or legal obligations. These commitments also apply to Google-derived data shared with service providers.

Service providers and international processing

Hodego uses Hostinger for hosting and email, Retell AI for voice-agent processing, Twilio for telephone and messaging services, and Stripe for card billing. Connected calendar services process calendar data under their own policies. Other optional services are used only when configured. Providers may process information outside Canada. Business account users can view their own workspace records; authorized Hodego support access is recorded. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect the service and its users.

Retention, disconnection and deletion

Information is retained while needed to provide the service and for legitimate security, billing, legal and dispute-resolution purposes. Disconnecting Google Calendar in Connections removes the stored calendar connection and stops future calendar access through that connection; existing appointment records and events already written to Google Calendar are not automatically erased. You can also revoke Hodego's access in your Google Account's third-party connections settings.

Contact info@hodegoai.com to request deletion of retained personal data. We may verify your identity and explain any records that must be retained and why. The owner's recoverable account-delete control disables access but is not permanent data erasure. Backups and service-provider records may remain until their retention cycles expire.

Security and your choices

Hodego uses HTTPS, password hashing, encrypted integration credentials and account access controls. No system can guarantee absolute security. You can change your business information in your workspace, disconnect optional integrations, and contact us to request access, correction or deletion. Disabling an integration may prevent the associated feature from operating.

Changes and contact
